We usually pay attention to maintaining the aluminum alloy products when using them, such as wiping or lubricating regularly. Similarly, aluminum alloy doors and windows also need our maintenance in daily life, thus, their advantages can be fully make use of and can extend their service life.
1.The aluminum alloy doors and windows should be used under ventilated, dry conditions. Keep their surface clean, avoid contacting with corrosive matter like acid, alkali and salt; when using them, and prevent them from being damage by sharp equipment.
2.When pushing and puling them, we can rotate the handle to 90, and open the lock of windows, then push them gently, the external force cannot be directly used to locks. When closing windows, pull them gently, after windows close to certain place, rotate handles to close them, make sure the gaps are tightly be sealed.
3.Check the draining system periodically, and move blockage without being impeded.
4.Keep clean of chute, drive mechanism, hinges, sliding handles and other part of windows, when the screws become loose, tightened them in time. The parts of aluminum alloy doors and windows should be check and lubricate regularly to keep their flexibility. When parts are damaged, replace them timely. In order to prevent them form distorting, we’d better not hang heavy materials on windows.
5.Because of thermal expansion and contraction, the seals may be retractable. Under such circumstances, keep it natural instead of pulling it forcefully. When seals become damaged and aged, repair or replace them timely.
6. The aluminum doors and windows are appropriate to use neuter water to clean, prohibit but do not use corrosive chemical agents (such as acetone, xylene, etc.).
In short, the service life of aluminum alloy doors and windows will extend, as long as we take these tips in daily life.
